This piece was derived from an earlier works of mine, "Rise". I wanted to experiment with this particular geometry and it's environment/lighting some more. I also tweaked the SSS shader. Original geometry was created in Xenodream. Additional mesh editing done in Max(edit-poly). Rendered using Mental Ray and post/color-correction in Photoshop. All CC and comments welcome. Thanks.
